I've only had one experience with travel insurance, and it was 100% satisfactory. I had to cancel a trip for health reasons, and the company from whom I got my travel insurance had a check to me in less than 30 days for the whole cost of the trip. The cheap travel insurance was so worth the money. Unless I am booking a flight for the near future, I'm going to be using it...
