Every year, the fifth grade class at our city's intermediate school takes a trip to the nation's capitol, Washington, D.C. It is a very exciting trip for the kids and the parents get to accompany their children if they can. The trip lasts about a week and the kids get to see some of the most fascinating and exciting sites in Washington.
