After the lease expires on my apartment, I have been planning a trip over to Europe for an indefinite amount of time. I say indefinite because I plan to buy a one way to London and then take it from there, roaming hostel to hostel. I have never been out of the country past Canada and Mexican border towns and just feel like it is time to do this. Before stepping knee deep into corporate America I want to see what else is out there in the world. I’m tired of hearing other people’s amazing stories and nudges to see the world. What I am not sure about is whether or not to get travelers insurance.
I know it is the smart decision but considering I don’t have a set game plan, more of the happy wanderer approach, I’m not sure if travelers insurance would be too expensive. There is cheap travel insurance out there and if I do sign up for some it has to be affordable. My mom really wants me to get it just in case an emergency occurs. Knowing her, she will book the travelers insurance for me if I don’t. I might just work a couple more weeks to pay the cheap travel insurance difference. It can’t hurt.
