Trip Cancellation Insurance Worth Every Penny |

On a whim I added trip cancellation insurance to a plane ticket I bought for my mom. It was pretty inexpensive and I thought that it would be a good idea just in case something happened that would cause her to cancel or delay her trip. I am so glad I did. She ended up getting sick so she couldn't go, and the trip cancellation insurance policy will refund her money because it was a medical problem. Getting trip cancellation insurance was worth it. The flight cost $300 and the insurance was $18, so it certainly pencils to buy the insurance. There was a $150 rebooking fee, so we decided to just wait until the insurance money comes through and then rebook the trip later. This was my first experience with travelers insurance and I can only recommend it for anyone traveling who has medical conditions that can flare up from time to time. All we had to do to get the refund from the insurance policy was fill out a few easy forms and have her doctor fill out another form and sign it. |
